1 – Know your skin type
This is the ABC of having healthy facial skin. Take a good look at the different areas of your face:
Normal skin: Your skin is balanced. It may be oily in the T-zone, but it is not very shiny. Your skin is velvety, soft and smooth.
Oily skin: Your entire face is shiny. Your pores are enlarged and you tend to have blackheads and comedones.
Combination skin: your T-zone is oily, your cheeks are normal, dry or sensitive. Your skin produces more sebum in some areas than others. You sometimes have a few pimples and blackheads.
Dry skin: you often feel tightness and have redness. Your cheeks sometimes become covered with small dry patches, your skin is sensitive, especially in winter.
